I'm a guilt scrap lifter, I'm just starting so I live for sketches and well done pages that I can make my own- while I'm figuring out my own style. It makes it easier to focus on the journaling and the images, halleluja for sketches
ReplyDeleteI've seen sooo many positives about this class, if I don't win, I may just sign up anyway! I *heart* sketches. When I am sitting down to scrapbook, I usually pull out my binder full of sketches and also a current magazine with inspiration! :-) LOVE using sketches all the time!

ReplyDeleteI've recently discovered Studio Calico, so I'm very excited to take this class. I need inspiration to get back to scrapbooking. About a year ago, I "discovered" cardmaking and rubber stamps, and I've neglected my scrapbooks. The sneak peeks are very enticing. I've never done work from sketches, but I'm anxious to get a kick-start on my scrapbooks. My ultimate goal is to be able to combine stamping, scrapping, altered art and cardmaking and work on them interchangeably. Here's to inspiration! Looking forward to the class - thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love using sketches! I think it is a great source of inspiration especially when I am feeling "blah." The interesting thing is that most of the time the finished product looks a lot different, which I love!
ReplyDeleteI´d really like to win this faboulous prize! I really love sketches and it always inspire me to create from sketches!

ReplyDeleteYes yes yes!! I almost ALWAYS use a sketch. I feel much more confident when I do.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at sketches, and the layouts based on sketches - but I have yet to just jump into this hobby and I guess actually using the sketch (not always just looking) is a great way to begin.
ReplyDeleteI sure do, love sketches
ReplyDeleteI always use sketches :) sometimes I use other peoples and sometimes I create my own ... love 'em!
ReplyDeleteI love sketches. I use them more and more, the longer I have been scrapping. They are so inspiring to me; and flexible too. I can either "copy" verbatim or just use a small part of it. It is most inspiring to me because although I can do a layout without a sketch, I prefer not to. And I could NEVER come up with drawings of sketches on my own.
ReplyDeleteYes!! I always create layouts based on sketches! I think it's the best way to start a new layout! I'd love to win this class, I love Kelli's work! Thank you for the chance!

ReplyDeleteI've used them for DT assignments and for challenges. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so intrigued by sketches and how the originators came up with the idea. I actually never have produced a layout from one. I have torn out many pages and sketches from magazines that I liked and hoped to make a layout from, but had not gotten to it. This class looks quite interesting and I think could help me actually accomplish this! Yay!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have used a sketch for a layout before, and it was a great way to jumpstart those creating juices! Thanks for the opportunity! :)

ReplyDeleteNO but i want to learn how to! I have some sketch idea books that i have looked and looked at but never really pulled it off.
ReplyDeleteI've only used sketches a couple of times, but every time I have, I've loved it!! It's fun putting your own spin on something like that!
ReplyDeleteNever used to and then I started doing the SC sketches every week--not sure what's changed but it's a nice break from overthinking the placement of everything on a LO when it's already done for me!
ReplyDeleteRobin
Would love to win as started scrapbooking recently and sketches are real inspiration. Also, having less and less time to go physically to classes : this is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love using sketches to create LO's. They help me get outside of my rut and use more patterned papers, layering and better embellishment placement. Yea for sketches!
ReplyDeleteJ'utilise des croquis tout le temps quand je scrap. C'est tellement plus facile pour apprendre et s'aider. Je tente ma chance
ReplyDeleteI've done a few LO's based on sketches and I've even done a bunch of sketches myself for a class I was teaching :)
ReplyDeleteI often have intentions of using sketches, but I don't get around to it. I will usually mix and match different sketches I see around.
ReplyDeleteI have used a sketch a few times when there were some examples with it. This does sound like a fun class.
