  6. the kraft notebooks from target are my favorite. i've used stamps with simple black ink to decorate the covers for a little extra fun and personalization.. i like to keep them in my purse, but i do think they make great little gifts too.

another quick and simple idea is to buy a friend a copy of a recent favorite book. that way when she's done reading, you have someone to talk to about the details. :]

  38. Awesome ideas - thank you!
A really easy gift that my neighbor did this year was to give out cookie dough - the kind in a tube. She wrapped it up very nicely like a piece of candy, w/ brown kraft package paper, then a piece of patterned paper on top, with ribbon on each end. She also included baking instructions on her little card tied w/ the ribbon at one end...easy and very practical so you can have warm cookies any time you like!

  39. Just this afternoon my daughter and I made candy canes from pipe cleaners and beads. An easy thing for her to do and a great gift for her grandparent.

  41. My favorite gift this year is to give a gratitude journal. I used the Moleskin kraft journal and covered it with punched circles from my scraps. I used Ali Edward's example from her book. Inside I put a quote about gratitude and the rest of the book is for them to fill with daily gratitudes. It's a gift for the whole year long.

  42. I like to make small scrapbook ornaments to give. Usually 3x3 minis that have a ribbon to hang it on the tree. Sometimes the photos are from a special event. Sometimes it's just random photos.

I really love these kind of things!
I was just at this site where they had all these motivational and inspirational refrigerator magnets and I got a bunch of them. They were really cool with funny original sayings like "obsession is not a hobby" (i got THAT one for sure hahaha) :)
...and stuff about love and friendship too.
