  1. Wow! 1st to post!
I find the journaling hardest of all, but I think the sneak of this book shows a great idea of thinking how to tell someone about an event on the phone to give you an easier way to write it! Will give that a go!

  2. I, too find journaling so hard - mine is usually so dry - just the facts. I would love some ideas to help jumpstart my creative juices and get them flowing!

  3. I would love to have this book, I am not very good at adding journaling to my pages. I started scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and back then there weren't many design options or choices of product to purchase. I would love to learn creative ways to add my story and personality to my pages.

  4. I so would love this book, journaling is the hardest part of completing a LO...

  5. I would love some new ideas--always seem to say the same thing.

  20. This is a fantastic giveaway!!!! Something that probably 90% of all scrappers have problems with! :P I have really been trying to work on doing more meaningful LOs, capturing more of the everyday of my daughter and our lives. But it is not easy! This book would be perfect for helping me to document more of my thoughts and what is really happening in the now. Thanks!!!

  21. I am pretty good at just jotting down what I feel, and go with it. But it would be an inspiring item for me more than anything. Looking for ideas on how to tell a story a little differently. Thanks ladies!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Wow, how great it would be to win this. I wonder if journaling will ever feel natural to me. Nonetheless, I'm determined to get better.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I need this book! I'm terribly at telling the story, but really want to! I need help!

    ReplyDelete
  35. This book totally speaks to me! I put off my journaling projects probably because I tend to be a perfectionalist & a procrastinator...It has to be perfect or exactly the way I picture it in my mind & I end up never making all my ideas a reality. I guess I also take it for granted that I will remember every memory, every moment with my babies & family. I really just need to stop being my own worst enemy & dive in! I need to let my authentic voice come through! This book seems like a great tool to help me with that & give me some great inspiration!

    ReplyDelete
  36. This book is *me* because writing comes first to me and the rest (photos, embellishments...)second. Thanks for the chance to win.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. I do need this book. I have lots of unfinished pages that have titles but no journaling. I actually didn't realize I was avoiding it so much. I used the excuse that we didn't have printer ink and that I'd get to it when I had the time. I would need to write it out first before using the new pen I've never used before to write it perfectly. No more excuses! It needs to get done. This book would help immensely.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  141. I DESPERATELY NEED this book! Journaling is something I have struggled with since I started scrapbooking. The first 20+ pages I ever did have blank journaling spaces because I can never decide what to write or how to write it. I am a perfectionist and just can't get myself to let go and do it. This book, in looking at the sneak peek, would force me to just sit down and do it! Thanks for the opportunity to win this book about the most important part of scrapping - preserving the memories by telling the stories.

  158. I can do the who, what , when, where and why but that's all. I'd like to learn different, creative ways to tell my story. Thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I've discovered that it's the story in the end that matters most. I didn't follow through with that the first few years I scrapped--it was mostly about the pictures and I thought that would prompt the memory. But I've learned writing down the memory is just as important. Since I came to this hobby late, I have 20+ years of stories to tell (not that I expect to ever finish!) so I could really use this book.

    ReplyDelete
