This weeks Challenge

Hey hey hey! Maggie and I in da house and bringing you this weeks Studes entertainment.
As last night was reveal night, I couldn't set this challenge up so its a day late. Never mind, its here none the less :)
So, um, Ok. Prepare to meet thy scrapbook doom.
Woooooo, it isn't even Halloween yet! We have a challenge of all challenges, one to test your resilience and stamina. It will also test your wit, your patience and your creativity - it wouldn't be a challenge if it was easy, would it?
I think this weeks challenge should be about the photo - any size and journalling. You can't add any embellishments or stickers or alphas or patterned paper.
Yes, you heard me!
Buuut you can, of course, pit your wits with paint, pens/pencils, sprays, coloured cardstock, perhaps staples and of course adhesive. Use your scissors, paints, sprays, pens and pencils to create your own embellishments and backings and get to the basics of scrapping.
Can I see nails being chewed to the quick? Is that your hair that you are pulling? Oooooh, its gone ever so quiet!!!
GO! GO! GO!

Edited to add:
At last, here is my take. Ive used spray inks, paint (look, designer paint drips!), an ink pen, bits of coloured cardstock, a bit of kraft cardstock, a Martha Stewart template to cut the large butterfly, a Martha Stewart punch to cut the little butterflies and I also used chipboard letters as a template to cut the word "on" out.
If you click on the image, you will get to see one of the very few photos we have of our daughter as a toddler. Oh she is the light of my life!

Hope you can play along too :)

  9. I have been working on this challenge and I must admit... I LOVE IT! It has been so fun to draw, paint, and doodle on a page and being forced not to use any other embellishments. I can't wait to finish it tonight and post it tomorrow! :)
Thanks for making me think outside the box and go outside my comfort zone!!
