I have taken one class, a design class with Cathy Zielske. I loved how to project taught me some GREAT design principles. That, and being able to interact with other classmates. Can't wait to do one again!

ReplyDeleteOMG, I would LOVE to win this class! I have taken 1 online class so far and I didn't do real well with it, but I am putting that in the past & am ready to try again. It is nice to be able to do the class when you have the time, especially since we all seem to have crazy schedules these days.

I haven't taken an on-line scrappy class. I've just gone back to school to start a nursing degree so my REGULAR classes are keeping me busy but would love to see what its all about.
ReplyDeleteI took Dina Wakely's first two art journaling classes and two of Doris' Sanders. I loved the videos Dina made and I loved the great photo lessons Doris made. So, fun to get those new lessons twice a week. I love working from home.

ReplyDeleteI've taken 2 classes by Jessica Sprague (only the free ones). I like it because I can take it at my most convenient time and when I need to review something, I just access the links again. I am not stressed out because I can take the lessons at my own pace. :D

ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of online classes! I've taken a bunch of classes from BPS and other online sources. I like the variety of classes out there, the handouts, the chats and the fact that I can take the class whenever I can squeeze a few extra moments in.
ReplyDeleteI need taking online classes because I live in Europe, which is not round the corner of the scrapbooking country USA. But with these classes I have the chance to learn and to create even here. Another essential point is time: with four children, two dogs, five rabbits, church activities there isn´t very much time to drive somewhere on my own :-) - just for my scrappbooking.

What I love about online classes is that I can do this class even though I am all the way in OZ plus it is in my time because being a busy working woman who does shift work plus devoted Nana who spends a lot of my free time with my grandchild Riley I don't seem to get time to attend any type of class.

Once you've paid for it, you're enrolled for free every year. I have three wonderful scrapbooks of our Christmas celebrations--all quite different.

I also like if videos are available ... you usually get to see the technique done up close and personal ... and can rewind! Can you tell I like online classes? Plus I really want one of your kits!!! Is that included? LOL!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Big Picture Scrapbooking and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Studio Calico!!! I've taken 2 online classes there, and the things I liked most it that it "spiced up" my creativity when I was getting lazy with my LO's. I think I'll have to throw a party if I win this, I soooo want it!!!

ReplyDeleteI have taken many online classes. Big Picture was my savior when I had my four year old. It gave me the chace to participate in a class without leaving home. The best part I was able to work on it on my own time. Since then I have taken Digital Classes, Photography CLasses, etc...with teachers i admire but may never be able to travel to a class where they are teaching. I just love the whole concept. ReplyDeleteI've taken one only online class - 52 Card Pick Up where each day of the week we learned one new technique. It was the greatest class I've ever taken! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this class! My favorite thing about it was taking the new ideas we learned and sharing them on the message boards. I love collaborating over creativity - I think that helps foster, encourage and flourish new ideas! :)

I loved the fact that you could go at your own pace and not have to worry about missing a day, that you could catch up in your own time. Now I aim to try and take some more online classes as they are not only very rewarding but loads of fun!! xo

ReplyDeleteI have taken an online class (at BPS, even). I loved how well they did all the materials and videos. I could look at the info anytime I wanted to.

ReplyDeleteGreat classes at my own convenience. Love tha! Locally do not have the opportunity to get the any classes like the ones I get online. Fun having galleries and community sharing for those classes as well.

ReplyDeleteI have taken a couple of online classes. I like them very much since it gives me the possibility to "go to class" whenever I want and have th time and I can study at my own pace ;)

I have taken several on line classes - with mixed results - the ones where I can go back after the class and review them have been the best - with working and life - sometimes I can't follow along with the class and I have to go back and finish later - sometimes weeks/months later - I like the flexibility of doing that. For some photography class, sometimes I just need to go back and review a section as I don't remember how I did that.
ReplyDeleteI did take an online course...a free one by a talented digital scrapbooker. It didn't work for me...The print outs for the book needed to be cut...I goofed this up and needed to do it again...wasted aLOT of paper, fell behind and gave up.
ReplyDeleteI would like to try a class from BPS. I would like to know if I could keep with it along with all of my other obligations.
I love learning in my own home but still being able to connect with so many others and see their great work!
