  2. I am going to see my best friend this summer. Havnt seen her in a year!!! She is a missionary and lives in Papua New Guinea so.... since she is in the states for a few months.. I am going to spend a week with her. will defiantly document that! Plus my nephews will be visiting next week so that 2 of course.

  29. This summer we will be visiting the East Coast of Canada, our home. We haven't been back for there for three years. We can't wait to go fishing, berry picking,visiting the beach and boating. Most of all we can't wait to see my Dad who just had a heart attack in Febuary. He is doing great now that he does less but it will be a summer filled with pics of him and the fun we will have. Doing an album about this trip for my son will be a reminder and a treasure.

  34. This summer my little man turns two years old and we are throwing him a Yo Gabba Gabba party! I received a new Nikon 5000 SLR for Mother's Day and I will be taking photos like a maniac! And then of course comes the fun part - putting them in a scrapbook!!!!!

  39. It's winter here in the Southern Hemisphere, so we will be spending lots of time re-discovering old toys, reading books and layering up in lots of clothes to hit the park! Lots of opportunity for photos :)

  43. Wow! I love this collection! Our plans are to attend a teacher's convention in Spokane, washington and have dinner at the Grand Coulee Dam with a laser light show. The airplanes will be very appropriate for the trip and the colors are wonderful!

    Lots of photos of the programs and other events at the convention as we continue to LEARN!!

  44. Our family is planning a week long vacation traveling from NC to OH and visitng all of our family, both sets of grandparents, in-laws, etc who all live in OH but 4 hours away from each other. So a couple of days at each spot, documenting stays with family and getting some stories on audio tape from older family members to start our geneaolgy book for the kids. It should be fun,adventurous and full of learning and excitment, I am hopeful to nab a few family recipes for the books as well :) I guess we are doing a family living history trip!

  52. Our non-cowboylike family will be very involved in Frontier Days this summer in Cheyenne (largest outdoor rodeo in the U.S.) because of my husband's job on base, so you can bet we'll be documenting our cowboy/cowgirl transformation for the week. Ha.

  66. My dear beloved 60 year old mother passed away in March and so this summer I will be spending a lot of quality time with my father. So I have planned for the two of us a trip to San Diego to see the legendary Donna Summer in concert. (Second row seats, been a big fan for many years and so excited.) Then a second trip to Boston and New York to visit some wonderful friends. This will be the first time in 42 years to fly on an airplane with my father. Will be a joyful time!

  71. I am a mosaic artist and a new scrapbooker and would love to document my progress in learning these lovely arts and crafts! Also, I am planning on making monthly short trips, to local curiosities such as cave of the mounds and circus would museum etc, it would be awesome! to keep a documentary of the places we see!     Two main summer events for our family:
    * Going with daughters, granddaughters & nieces (girls only)to Cedar City for the Shaksperian Festival. Lots of fun photos there.
    * Our own family reunion.....this year in Las Vegas. Can't wait!

  104. This summer, I'll be @ home, mostly. DH's working away from home again (but the upside is that he'll be staying with the inlaws, so I get to visit and stay there too - last year he was in Norway and I didn't see him at all for the summer) so I'm hoping for mixed weather.

  111. Gonna have a jam packed summer. A few highlights include 10 day sightseeing / cropping trip to Southern Indiana's Amish Country with 2 of my best scrappy friends!

    Also a great family trip to Branson, MO over the Fourth of July week.

  130. This whole year has been filled with little and big trips. Hiking the Hadrians Wall in England, a weekend to Cambridge,England; summervacation will be spent in Spain and then in October hubby and I will be in New York for a week. Lots and lots to Document. About once a month we go on a day trip, and I love doing layouts but think I would like to do "Our trips in review" book, so that I can look back in one place at all the fun things we have done, it is actually the first day of Winter here and I guess this to me is where I get cosy and scrap heaps so looking forward to accomplishing this yearly book, just thinking how nice it will be to look back on each year and look at a compillation of great days, I hope my dear 3 year old will remember some of these days, but a book reminding him will let him know how much fun his mum and him had. My plan this summer is that I get to have A SUMMER (since as a nurse you don't always have seniority to have the summer off for vacation) AND go on maternity leave first week of August because my baby girl will be arriving end of August. Yay! A much needed rest and quality time spent with my little boy. Time to enjoy the summer! =)

  158. This summer, my family and i moving back to the US after our tour in Europe compliments of the US Military. We'll be documenting our move...the stress of moving a household of 7 back to the US complete with cat and a van. We are also going to coming into the US with no place to live....so finding a house is top priority. LOL. The next big thing we'll document is reuniting with our oldest son who has been in a hospital in the US since February. We haven't seen him since we brought him to the hospital. We talk to him daily on the phone, but I want to hug my child. I miss him.

    And I'm looking forward to see our friends from the Us. They're visiting us in Germany for one week. That will be fun!
