Sunday Sketch

The sketch this week is inspired by me (April)! I love working with grids, mainly because they're quick and easy, but sometimes they can get boring, right? So on this layout, instead of using a square photo to fit in the upper left block, I used a grouping of photo-booth photos. You could use any small photos.

My journaling is located in the lower left block, but there's plenty of room anywhere here to journal or add a title, so have fun!

Be sure to link your layouts to this post by Saturday. 2 winners will be chosen on Sunday for $5 gift cards!

  7. Lau, the paint I used on the chipboard was borrowed at a crop. It was just a folkart cheap acrylic paint. Sorry I don't know the color :)

  29. Just a word here - when I first saw the sketch, I thought it would be SO hard to do. It's just so unique and so "April"! I couldn't see how I could pull it off. It ended up being easy, though. I'm not that thrilled with my own layout, but after looking at everyone else's, it's one of my favorite sketch challenges ever! It's translated so well into lots of different layouts. And even the ones that are similar are so outstanding. Great choice this week!
