Looks like a great class! I use sketches all of the time. Some are a real "lift" and some are just a jumping off point. Love what some of the SC sketches help me think of!

yvette said...

i've tried sketches a couple of times and found them very helpful and flexible enough so i can incorporate my own style. i would love to join this class if i may. :)

Christine said...

I love sketches! They help you get over "scraper's block" and inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and try new layouts... and it is neat how through the project the sketch becomes your own, and by the end, your layout might not look anything like the sketch!

I love sketches!

I need lots of help and would like to experience an online class to see if it will motivate me!!!!
Thanks!

If my mojo went on vacation a scetch is the right way to bring it back at my scraptable, a wonderful idea for a class...

Sketches are So So helpful in creating a layout. The amazing new ideas by other scrappers are always inspiring to let us imagine a layout design. And by incorporating Studio Calico's mthly kits with our imaginations, a beautiful layout can be created!! Im so excited to get a start on Studio Calico's sketchbook class...."^^"

Kristen said...

all the time...whether it's created by someone else, thought up by me or based on someone else's layout...it's always my starting point!

I would love to win a spot in this class. It looks so fun. I have used sketches but would like to do more layouts with them. I scrap 4x6 pictures so run into trouble when the sketches have smaller or really large pictures. I look for ones that make use of mostly 4x6.

gamybel said...

I have used sketches...I always sat that I don't have an original idea in my head but I can copy anything...I would love to win this class! Thanks for the chance.

Yes, I loved using sketches for scrapbooking. Gave me a way to jump start my mojo and get a page done without a lot of thought. I can still incorporate my style by using a basic sketch but without the time I previously spent trying to come up with the layout. a scrapper's best friend for sure...

i (heart) sketches!!!

Unknown said...

I love to work from a sketch. They provide inspiration when the mojo has left the building in search of someone more talented than myself.

They provide the perfect starting point, they can take you 'out of your box' and stretch you creativity!

They're immensely versatile - resize for different page sizes, shrink for cards, expand to be a double LO!

In fact they provide endless inspiration!

Ha! I'm one of those scrappers who said, "I'll never do mini-albums..." and then spent the next year doing nearly nothing but! So for me to say "I never use sketches" of course meant that they'd become an invaluable tool for scrapping...one I'd have a hard time living without now! Thanks for the class and such a great giveaway...
