i lost two rings when i was younger...a sapphire one and my birthstone ring...a peridot. both were gifts from my parents and i never recovered either. still wonder about whatever happened to them!
I lost a necklace my husband bought for me and didn't even know I lost it until I found it by the car later that week on vacation!! lol. It was a miracle I tell you!
I lost a pair of earrings my parents gived to me in my 18th birthday (my first pair of real jewels!) and after 6 months they were in the place I keeped it :)
I dropped a precious bracelet alongside my car and did not miss it until I spoke to a friend and heard my sister's voice instead of my own. That prompted me to search for the bracelet which she had given me before she died. Happily, I found it!
To me, the greatest treasures we have are family and friendships. Several years ago, two 18 yo young ladies lived at my home because their parents had kicked them out when they reached 18. they were working at Wendy's, but rent is so high that they couldn't probably even afford a studio apartment on those wages. Deanna stayed until she decided to move to her dad's in New York. I lost touch with her. On July 4th, my niece, her baby and I were at Ala Moana and were in the new Victoria Secrets store. I was excusing myself to reach to get these bottles of lotion on a clearance sale. the person turns around and it Deanna. she had moved back to the islands and was working two jobs an that was the first day off for her in 3 months. It was wonderful to reconnect, introduce her to Nina. I cherish my friendships. They are the family we choose for ourselves.
I once lost the diamond out of my engagement ring only three days after I had been wearing it. I turned the house upside down, combing thru the carpeting one room at a time until thankfully, I found the stone in my fiancee's bedroom.
I haven't lost anything too huge, but my hubby just lost his ipod and it was pretty much full, the next day he had to make a 10 hour drive home, with no ipod and a broken cd player:(
Hmmm, not a funny story but I lost my son briefly in macys one time when he was about 24 months. He was always climbing out of the stroller (before they had all the harnesses) but he never actually took off before. I ran through the store shouting his name and after about 30 seconds I got that sick feeling. I had my 5 yr old daughter with means well so we were running and shouting together. Before u know it several staffers were helping and I ran into the dressing rooms opening all the doors and calling his name. About the 5th room in, I opened the door and saw the 3 way mirror closed in on each other. I ran over, swung them open and lo and behold my baby boy was hiding inside!!!!! He didn't answer our calls because he was playing.....I got my first gray hairs that day!!
I lost my tennis bracelet 2 years ago! This was a cherished and totally unexpected Christmas gift from my wonderful husband. I don't dare scap a page about this because he hasn't noticed...or at least he hasn't said anything about it and I certainly don't want to prompt him.
This is a great...but sometimes heartbreaking...question. My heart goes out to those who have lost heirlooms.
we lost my 8 yr olds nintendo DS for about a month. after searching every drawer and closet, frantically, we found it shoved between our nesting tables. crisis averted!
The most valuable thing I ever lost is not a thing at all but a person-my mom. Although I can't get her back, I am blessed by many happy memories of her.
I lost my wedding ring, I was so sad. It happened one day when I was making pastry dough. I took off my ring when I began to kneed the dough for the pie I was making. When it came to the clean up I simply placed everything used in the sink and placed the wax paper I used to roll out the dough in the trash. I never remembered the ring until the next day after the trash had been picked up. I was frantic when I discovered what I had done. I checked the counter, the sink, and the trash. There was a new liner in the container and instantly I knew what I must of done. It was so sad. My husband and I prayed about it and about our feelings about it's lost. In a day or so when we emptied the trash again and placed the new liner in, there in the bottom of the container was my ring! I was so happy!!!
I was at the airport on the way home from my grandmother's funeral, when a little girl came up to me and said, "Miss, I think you dropped this." -The item was the very last gift I had given & made for my grandmother while I was a poor college student. It was a little brooch pin with a small counted cross-stitched angel inside. My grandmother had it pinned to her Sunday suit that she had laid out to wear the morning of the very day she had her stroke that eventually ended her life 25 days later. It only cost me a few dollars to make but is now priceless to me!

I lost my purse visiting a local children's zoo. Found it over by the camels and come to find out, the camels apparently have a reputation for stealing them out of strollers all of the time! I was freaking out but so glad it was located b/c my son's epi-pen was inside.
I recently lost my great grandmother's locket that wa given to me for on my wedding day by my mother. It was brough over from France over 15 year ago. I finally found it in the back of my closet. I am not sure how it got there. I didn't put it there and I don't have kids...It is so much more precious now that It was almost lost!
Yes! I lost a pinky ring that was all diamonds - all the way around and my husband bought it for me so it had sentimental value. I had put it in a "safe place" and couldn't remember where that "place" was! I did finally find it after many days of checking in every nook and cranny I could think of. It was so frustrating and I was in tears at one point but then I thought, "Its only a piece of jewelry and it'll turn up". And it did.
My husband lost his wedding ring while throwing a snowball last winter. Oh was I mad!!! But after 5 hours, helped by 8 friends and a metal detector we did eventually find it!! And yes there will be a scrapbook page about that event!
I lost my battery charger for my camera, which was very frustrating. I finally found it after 2 months, and 1 day after I bought (and used) and new one!
A while back I lost my Monc Blanc pen. I loved that pen so I bought a new one and then a year later I found the old one in a file folder in my file cabinet. It had dropped in the file. I gave the old pen to my husband.
Every once in a while I think about the prized Teddy Bear I had as a kid. I know I had him up until college and for the life of me, I can't remember where he went after that. I wish I knew where he wandered off to.
I lost an engraved bracelet that I received from my aunt and uncle for being in their wedding when I was three. Years later, someone found it and gave it to me. It helps when you are the only "Brenda" in a small town!

I tell you WHAT...this is the greatest paper line...EVER! I lost track of a dear friend who lives over seas. We found each other again via Facebook! I am so glad to have that resource. :) thanks for the chance!
I had just had portraits taken of my children and I lost them and never found them...looking back, I think, I accidently put them in my trash pile when I was cleaning out. Luckily, this was something I was able to replace! :) Traci from Ga.
I lost one of my favorite "real" gold earrings a couple of years ago on a Sunday. My hubby had bought these for me after we remarried so I had them for 13 years. When I found out that I had lost it, I cried so much. My hubby took me back to every location we were at that day but no luck. He ever went to the jewelry store he had bought them from to see if they could still get them but no luck there either. I still hold on to the only one I have because it has such sentimental value and who knows, I might find it's partner one day.
YEs! i lost my wedding band with diamonds.. and thought i would never find it. About a year later i found it in my kitchen cupboard in my daughter's Christmas candy loot bag from shcool - not sure how that happened, but sooooo glad to have found it and that it didnt get thrown away!
The day before my wedding I lost my engagement ring in my car. My uncle searched and searched. He found it in the heater vent. He had to use a hanger to get it out. Oh my, I was scared. I am in love with the Lost & Found collection!
Just today my husband and were out running errands for his business. There are certain places that I don't go into and just wait for him the car so I bring my current book with me and read while he does what has to be done. We also stopped at the store and farm market so we had several packages to bring in when we got home. I thought I placed my book in one of the bags to make carrying things into the house easier, but evidently I didn't for we can't fing my book. I don't know what I did with it...and I hate the thought that tomorrow morning I will have to search the trash barrels to see if it ended up aout there...yuk!
We were newlyweds...6 months into our marriage. I took my ring off in the car(I did this daily on my way to work)to put lotion on and it was gone. We tore that car apart so many times...never found it. Needless to say, I got a new ring (many years later) and we just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary this month. Sad to have lost my wedding ring but happy to have landed an amzing hubby! Thanks for the chance!
I can't think of any one specific object that I've lost. But I'm sure I lost quite a few brain cells and a big chunk of sanity with this last pregnancy! ;)
Just last week I lost my house key while on a 6 mile walk. Never found it so thank goodness there was nothing on the key to identify which house it unlocked.
back in 2005 we lost 4 library books all at the same time. I had a newborn, life was crazy, I paid the fines ($50+) and moved on. Crazy enough in 2006 I was pregnant AGAIN and went to my first OB/GYN appt...in the waiting room book rack were the lost books...left there by my oldest daughter the previous year.
i left my purse at a starbucks after i had sat down and when i went back the people working at the counter said that a nice lady brought it to them. when she turned it in they gave her free coffee! so nice!
In High School, I lost a ring that a boyfriend had given me.. and never found it- I was broken-hearted at the time, and I'm sure he wasn't too happy either!
My family was on vacation at Disneyland and I lost my cheap kodak camera on Tom Sawyer's Island. I made my sister go with me to the Lost & Found and then back to scour Tom Sawyer's Island which cost us another "A" ticket and I never found my camera.
i lost a diamond ring once...i finally found it at my step-grandmothers house in a drawer in the upstairs bathroom. apparently i had worn it when i was housesitting for her and forgot that i had taken it off up there. talk about nerve-wrecking!
The only thing I can think of is one time when my dad bought me this pretty ring shaped like a tiara (I was like 16) and I accidentally flushed it down an automatic-flush toilet! nope, never got that back! And my dad still asks me about it to this day... and I've never had the heart to tell him the truth!
I lost the diamond out of my wedding ring a few years ago. I looked down and the diamond had fell from the setting. I looked everywhere, and finally found ti at the bottom of my purse. How lucky could I get.
It was our 10 year anniversary the next month, so I ended up getting the long promised ring upgrade anyway.
I lost a lucky charm that I carried around when I was pregnant with my two children. I never found it, but it makes me feel better to think that it was found by someone else who really needed it.
I lost a 100$ bill....I ran into the 7-11 for a pepsi, paid for the pepsi, it must of fallen out when I took the 2 bucks out!! My husband NEVER lets me forget it, either!!!
I lost my blue tooth last year. Drove about 24 miles home before I realized I lost it. Called my daughter and she went out to her street to check to see if I dropped it there and I did. My daughter lives on a busy street and not once did that blue tooth get run over! Amazing! It is still here till this day!
i recently got a new Polaroid camera. the one with the smaller format photos. about a week after getting it i took a ton of super cute photos of my son. i went to scrap them and i couldnt find them anywhere. about a month later i found them mixed in with my junk mail! 1) so glad i looked through it again instead of just tossing it and 2) how the heck did they get in there anywho!?!?!?!?
I'm a "Lost Personality" so it's hard to find just one. But I'm lucky that later on I'm remember and because I'm a good finder I'm find. When I was about ten I lost my young sister in a night game. We were in summer camp and the end of the game she wasn't there. The all people there began looking in the all aria shouting at the night her name. The end of the story… she found in her bed. She decides to return and go by herself. Thank you Orit B.
I lose minor things on a regular basis but the most precious thing I ever lost was my son. He was about 3 at the time and he disappeared on a day out and I spent about 10 frantic minutes looking everywhere for him. He turned up quite cross with us as he had started the walk and had been waiting for us!! I was soooo glad to have him back and really could not be cross with him!
When I was a kid I had to go to the supermarket to get something for my mom, I lost her wallet on the way back with almost 50 dollar in it. When I went back to look for it, I found it on the sidewalk, all the money still in it!!
I lost lost my best friend 8 years ago. But i got something much better! Becaus I found my real love in this person and now we are married and not "only" best friends :-)
I lost an exposed photo film (a long time ago, before the digital era !!) ... but I exactly know were it is : On the top of a Inca pyramid, in Tikal, Guatemala. I sat down to reload the camera, and put the film beside me while loading the new one. If someone goes by there, may be you will find, hidden under the moss, an antique photo film !!! It drives me crazy, in the evening, when I realise one film was missing ... and impossible to go back !!
Can't find my little girl's hearing aids this morning - have looked all over the house and they are nowhere to be seen. Having a VERY noisy day as she keeps shouting!! Need to find them to get her volume down and cure my headache!! xx
About 3 years ago I lost my favourite necklace. I used to wear it every day & have looked everywhere to try to replace it but have still to find something similar :(
We lost the battery charger for my canon rebel the night before we left for our cruise this summer...ran out to best buy and got another for $65...and found the original as soon as we got back! Grrr! Of course the new one had already been opened and used so now we have two!
When our daughter was 2 months old, one of our cats, (we had two at the time)passed away. He was just a year old, and he snuck into the neighbors yard to play with the St. Bernards. He didn't realize the dogs were much bigger then him, and unfortunately, he didn't make it. It was quick though, and he wasn't mauled. His neck was snapped. Then almost a year later, when we were living with my parents, our other cat passed away on the same day my grandfather died. He was hit by a car. He did not fare well. A few months ago, now that we live on our own again with our two kids, our third cat, kind of ran away for almost two weeks after being abused by someone. But then my husband found him at the end of the street, and he went to get him, although he (the cat) kind of protested, but he healed and now loves being back home--despite a two year old and an 11 month old antagonizing him.
My husband was so thin when we married that his ring was loose (when we bought it the jeweler assumed it was the bride's ring, it was so small). He lost it packing for a move, but it had fallen into a box and he later found it: phew!
Well I'm a new Mom so the thing that I lose most often is my keys. I'm trying to make sure have everything for the baby and about 80% of the time I get out the door and realize I don't have my keys. I most often find them under the mail or in the more obvious spot, in my pocket.
While traveling in Madrid, I lost my jewelry pouch/bag, and 2 weeks later, my husband found it at the bottom of our laundry basket at home. Whew! Thanks for the chance to win :)
Some how I always manage to lose one earring, never the pair of earrings just one of them. This makes the other earring not wearable, unless I want to start wearing mismatched earrings.
I lost my entire scrapbook stash (along with a ton of other things, including my magazine collection) when a huge flood hit our country exactly a year ago. Man. Of course, save for all my SC kits (it's a miiiiiracle!) because they were in kit bags and stored on higher ground :)
(to give people an idea of how high the flood was, I literally swam out of my house since water was past my head)
But in all situations, we bounce back. And looking back, I'm not as sad as I was because it was totally humbling and touching to see so many people reach out and help us start over. I'm slowly rebuilding my library, magazine collection and all.. but I still have 2 years worth of SC kits! (Frankly, I don't have to rebuild my stash, it's all in here!)
Over the past few years I have lost several small pieces of jewelry, come to find out that my son, who was a toddler at the time, was a bit of a magpie and had been stashing items from around the house in a special hiding place (glad that they were found and that he has outgrown his obsession with hiding tiny shiny objects!)
When I was a junior in highschool my grandparents took me to Washington DC. After a day spent at the Smithsonian I realized when we got back to our hotel that I didn't have my camera. My 80 year old grandfather got back on the bus with me and took me back to the museum to hunt for my lost camera because he knew how important those pictures were to me! We found it in one of the many lost and found stations of the huge Smithsonian campus. I later scrapbooked a whole album for him with the found pictures. -Alisa
i dont think that there is a day that goes by that i dont loose something... and then my hubby finds it :) i am so forgetful! while in college, i took a ring off of my finger to wash my hands. silly girl. then i forgot it. about an hour later, i ran back to get it. lucky for me. someone who was honest found it. thank goodness! i never take my rings off to wash my hands. lesson learned.
I lost a double-strand pearl bracelet that my husband gave me. We went to a wedding and I noticed it gone from my wrist when I got home. It's lost forever.
My wedding ring! I had lost it for almost a month, I would cry and look everyday but never foung it. One day, I took our jar of money (at the end of each day, we drop our change ina jar) to get deposited at the bank. The lady at the bank asked me if I was missing a ring...um, yeah, I was. She had found the ring in our money jar!
When I was a little girl, I lost my doll that was part of the Sunshine Family. I took it everywhere with me, including to Washington DC on a family vacation. Somewhere in all our stops one day, it went missing. We never did find it. My parents did replace it for me, but she was just a little bit different than the specific doll that I had grown attached to. It's hard to let go of a favorite thing when you are little. Well, maybe when you are "big" too. ;-)
I lost a bunch of mirrors I bought to hang on the wall and finally my hubbie found them - he had put his stuff over them in the basket and they were lost
When my now 8 1/2 year old daughter was a toddler, she was notorious for throwing everything away in the garbage or down the toilet...inlcuding things like my husband's cell phone and my keys. We always managed to find these things because we knew her MO. However; that same year (2003), I also lost my engagement ring. I would take it off to do the dishes so I thought that maybe i'd left it somewhere that she had found it. We looked and looked everywhere and it never showed up. Fast forward to the year 2008 when we are moving out of our house, and while packing, decide we'd get rid of our indoor exercise bike. We hadn't used it in a while and didn't want to move it to the new house. When we dismantled it...guess what was trapped inside the wheel cover? Yep, my engagement ring...found 5 years after we lost it. I asked my daughter if she remembered putting it there, but she had no idea. Guess some questions are left unanswered, although I suspect it had to be someone with tiny fingers to get it lodged in there! That was a HAPPY day!
I won two tickets to the rodeo playing dirty santa at Christmas. I put them up somewhere for safe keeping so I wouldn't lose them... then I FORGOT where I put them! I still, to this day, have NOT found those stinkin tickets. I don't know if they accidentally got thrown out or what, but I hope I never find them. I would be livid if I did! So needless to say, we missed the rodeo. :( Would love to win this set! Thanks for the chance!
You know the little turning thing on lamps to turn it on and off? I lost the one to my bedside lamp and could not figure out where in the world it may have gone. I was talking to my husband about it and my little 3 year old boy walked into the room. He asked what we were talking about so I told him and he walked over to a shelf in my room, moved a few things to the side and behind everything was his stash of all the little lamp turny things from all the lamps in the house! Silly boy :)
My husbands car keys last year...We couldn't find them anywhere so he had to disengage his alarm and use an extra set to get in. We finally found them almost 9 months later (last week)-on a bus he was on for a high school basketball trip.
I lost one of my all-time favorite earrings a few years ago. Although I only lost one of the set, it rendered the other useless. It was a tiny silver dangling cross earring from Tiffany's, which my mother-in-law gave me for our first christmas together after our wedding over 16 years ago. I wore them almost every single day and viewed them as my daily guardian angels. I lost one while volunteering at a "twins club" resale and was absolutely distraught. I was crawling on a fieldhouse floor on my hands and knees for over an hour looking for it. I recently found a cheap little pair of silver cross earrings at Claire's. Not as nice or sentimental as my favorite set, but still a very loved pair.
I lost my gold earings I got from my brother many years ago. He bought them when he was a UN soldier stationed in Lebanon. My friends and I looked all over the place but we never found them, though I've always suspected someone did and took them.
i lost my entire set of keys about two years ago, and surprisingly they have never turned up. we still joke about it, because where the flip did they go???
I recently "lost" my child for a few minutes... now hold on. I didn't neglect him, just assumed too much. I was bringing soup cans into the house, down to the basement. He usually follows (to play in the storage). After yelling and searching EVERY where, he sneakily came from up from the ditch in the bean field where he had run to enjoy a whole pack of mint gum :) Very Luckily, there had been no traffic (it's harvest season - semi's and tractors abound).
I have a funny lost and found story, about six months ago, we lost one the little tiny shoes to my DD's sleeping beauty doll and she just was crushed, luckily her nana, who is a wonderful seamstress was able to make her a new pair. Yesterday, as I was cleaning out a bag that I use for work, all the way at the bottom, was that missing shoe! Six months later, the pair is finally reunited!
I lost my purse once on the way to a Christmas party, off the trunk of my car (set it down to put baby carrier in car). Got a call on my answering machine that Santa had found my purse and to come to the United Way party at given address and look for the man in the red suit. Sure enough the Santa for the party had it waiting for me. Best gift I got that year! :)
I lost our pup "Rascal" at our family cottage on Labour Day weekend 2 years ago. We were all sitting around the campfire and setting off fireworks, didn't realize until much later that our pup was nowhere to be found. We search & searched for him, no Rascal. The next morning I printed off photos of Rascal & walked up & down the street asking if anyone had seen our lost pup?? A jogger passed by us & we handed her a photo of Rascal, she said, oh yes my neighbours (about 10km away) have your pup. She took me to the neighbours, and sure enough the pup that they found running scared on the road was our pup Rascal!!!
I have never lost anything of much value because I'm actually very organized and hate waste, two things that help me take good care of my things and always put them where I will find them later. I guess I've lost a cheap ring or two. :)
I feel like I've lost my mind running around with three kids, chauffering them from activity to activity, working part time, raising a baby, cleaning house, cooking meals. Does that count? LOL
I haven't lost anything of real value, but I do have a bad habit of losing sunglasses. And I've never been able to find them. That is why I'm not allowed to buy new ones!
I lost my favorite necklace from Vancouver -- made of Indian beads. I had it on and it must have come undone and slipped off without me noticing. I still haven't figured it out, but it was a bummer to lose such a nice souvenir of a great trip!
Last year, in the middle of Mexico, we lost my husbands wallet at a rest stop. After much searching and finally ending up praying on our knees in the middle of the parking lot, a man came forward who had found it. He'd watched us search for 30 minutes but wanted to keep it for himself I believe. He finally came forward and gave it back with everything still in it. What a blessing for our family as we had no idea what we were going to do in a strange country, in the dark and without much Spanish at all.
I've lost my keys more times than I can count. The last time was a week ago. BUT they ALWAYS show up in the most random places! I also lost my camera once, Just my simple, inexpensive point and shoot. Can't wait for the reveal!
years ago, my home was broken into and my mother's diamond from her engagement ring was taken. that's something I lost that I'll never get back, and I felt bad since.
Are you kidding? I am always losing something! Thankfully, I usually find it again. My poor DD, who has never lost anything in her 18 years has just recently lost 2 iphones in 2 weeks, the latest being her week old iphone 4. Luckily I insisted she take out insurance! Marina
I once lost the largest diamond of my engagement ring while I was doing an internship. While walking with a patient, I kept reminding him to look ahead rather than at the floor. Thankfully, he wasn't listening and found the diamond (ironically, he found it shortly after I said, "you don't need to look at the floor, there is nothing of value down there!"--guess he proved me wrong)
Right after my dad died, I was spending the night at mom & dad's house, and I lost my wedding ring down the bathroom sink. So my mom and I had to figure out how to open up the drain (trap?) and get out my ring--totally would have been a dad thing. But we did it!
I lost one of my diamond earrings that my husband gave to me one our first wedding anniversary. It fell onto the bathroom floor and rolled under the cabinet landing in that little space between the tile and the cabinet. I could see it with the compact mirror and tried to pick it up with some tweezers. I ended up pushing it further under the tile. Hubby came to my rescue, broke up the tile on the floor to find it! Two years later, our floor has yet to have been fixed. I think it is a way of reminding me to me a little more careful!!!
the stuff i lose is mostly just sentimental value and no i never find it...the avon ring all my brothers and sisters bought me for my 16th birthday...the hand knitted santa stocking with my name on it made by one of my gramas oldest friends...then of course there are the people i have lost that i value more than anything. losing things makes me cling tighter to the things and people i DO have...
hmm, i lost a $100 bill before. i thought it fell out of my wallet at my lss when i pulled out my car but i found it 3wks later in my car between my seat and the console :) just like finding money during laundry :)
My grandmother-in-law gave my husband her original wedding ring for our wedding, although we used it for the wedding, it needed to be sized. I put it away in a "safe place" to take care of later...a year later, we moved to a new house and I couldn't find it. I was so upset, we thought it was gone forever. Several years later, I found it in a handbag with other jewelry and keepsakes. I guess that was my "safe place"!
I lost my gold bracelet in an arcade when i was "driving" a race car. I felt something snap from my wrist but didn't clue in that it was my bracelet. When I had realized that I had lost it, I went back to the arcade. It wasn't there anymore. Nobody had turned it in either.
I lost my wedding bands! for weeks! I remember taking them off and I forgot were. so I did what my mom said "tie a knot in a hanki and prey" I did and found then 3 weeks later! yeah for mom! were do you ask? they were in a pocket of a jacket I was wearing!
I am always losing things! My husband says he'll have them engrave "I've lost my keys!" on my tombstone. Everyone who sees that will smile and think of me.

I lost a set of Polaroids that I took at the Grand Canyon this past February. I recently found them and scrapped them right up!
i lost a watch once that my mom got me. i felt so bad that i went out and bought a new one so she wouldn't know!
I once lost the diamond out of my engagement ring only three days after I had been wearing it. I turned the house upside down, combing thru the carpeting one room at a time until thankfully, I found the stone in my fiancee's bedroom.
I lost the first necklace my mother gave me... It's white gold with a cross. I'm still kicking myself for being so careless! *sigh*
I can't really remember anything that I have lost recently...hope I haven't lost anything! Great giveaway!

I haven't lost anything too huge, but my hubby just lost his ipod and it was pretty much full, the next day he had to make a 10 hour drive home, with no ipod and a broken cd player:(
Thank goodness, I've never lost any material item of value!
I lost my checkbook and did not find it!

I lost one diamond earring. It was one of the first things my DH ever gave me. And it hasn't turned up yet.
I lost my battery charger for my camera, which was very frustrating. I finally found it after 2 months, and 1 day after I bought (and used) and new one!
I can't think of anything that I've lost and then found again except my memory! LOL!!!
A while back I lost my Monc Blanc pen. I loved that pen so I bought a new one and then a year later I found the old one in a file folder in my file cabinet. It had dropped in the file. I gave the old pen to my husband.
Lost my mojo and seem to have recently found it again!
I lost our son's baby foot print 3 yrs ago. I just stumbled upon it last night! I can't wait to frame it, but not before I make a copy of it!!
And, yes, this would make for a perfect scrap page! Thanks for the idea! :)

Traci from Ga.
I dropped a camera in a lake when I was little and my dad was soooo upset. It slipped off my hand. I was in sooo much trouble.
YEs! i lost my wedding band with diamonds.. and thought i would never find it.
I lost a ring that my grandmother gave me. I keep hoping somehow that it will show up somewhere, but it's been years since I lost it.
I once lost my engagement ring after wiping paint off of my car with some snow. Thank goodness I found it under the car just as I had given up!
i left my purse at a starbucks after i had sat down and when i went back the people working at the counter said that a nice lady brought it to them. when she turned it in they gave her free coffee! so nice!
I lost a beautiful Madona and child pendant with a dimond in it that my sweet friend gave to me as a Christmas gift....sure hope it shows up some day!
In High School, I lost a ring that a boyfriend had given me.. and never found it- I was broken-hearted at the time, and I'm sure he wasn't too happy either!
My family was on vacation at Disneyland and I lost my cheap kodak camera on Tom Sawyer's Island. I made my sister go with me to the Lost & Found and then back to scour Tom Sawyer's Island which cost us another "A" ticket and I never found my camera.
i lost a diamond ring once...i finally found it at my step-grandmothers house in a drawer in the upstairs bathroom. apparently i had worn it when i was housesitting for her and forgot that i had taken it off up there. talk about nerve-wrecking!
thanks for the chance - i love MME!
I lost my cell phone a few weeks ago. The store worker where I lost it couldn't find it so I guess it was stolen, not really lost.
I lost the one photo of my parents together ever taken before I was born. I found it after we moved to our new house.
This spring i lost a diamond from my engagement ring... It was TERRIBLE!! =/ Thank God i got a new one!
i recently got a new Polaroid camera. the one with the smaller format photos. about a week after getting it i took a ton of super cute photos of my son. i went to scrap them and i couldnt find them anywhere. about a month later i found them mixed in with my junk mail!

Yes, I lost a gold bracelet that my husband gave me for an anniversary gift one year---and No, I never found it :(
When our daughter was 2 months old, one of our cats, (we had two at the time)passed away.
I lost my purse once. I never did get it back.
While traveling in Madrid, I lost my jewelry pouch/bag, and 2 weeks later, my husband found it at the bottom of our laundry basket at home. Whew! Thanks for the chance to win :)
first thing that comes to mind is the many friends i've lost touch with over the years - some of whom i've reconnected with ;)
Some how I always manage to lose one earring, never the pair of earrings just one of them. This makes the other earring not wearable, unless I want to start wearing mismatched earrings.
I've lost my mind and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I think I'm getting close though....
According to the library I've lost a book...I can't find it anywhere! So frustrating because I generally don't lose things. Sigh.
I've lost the desire to workout, but that's nothing new. Hoping to find it soon!
Would love to win this set!
Not as nice or sentimental as my favorite set, but still a very loved pair.
ack I just lost my comment and can't find it!
I can't find the battery charger for point and shoot right now... and that's a problem... .
I lost my gold earings I got from my brother many years ago. He bought them when he was a UN soldier stationed in Lebanon. My friends and I looked all over the place but we never found them, though I've always suspected someone did and took them.
i lost my entire set of keys about two years ago, and surprisingly they have never turned up. we still joke about it, because where the flip did they go???
alisyn
Knock on wood...I've never lost anything of significant value! (but with 2 kids, sometimes I lose my mind LOL!)
oops, that above anon. comment was mine!
I recently "lost" my child for a few minutes... now hold on. I didn't neglect him, just assumed too much. I was bringing soup cans into the house, down to the basement. He usually follows (to play in the storage). After yelling and searching EVERY where, he sneakily came from up from the ditch in the bean field where he had run to enjoy a whole pack of mint gum :) Very Luckily, there had been no traffic (it's harvest season - semi's and tractors abound).
the diamond out of my wedding ring!

I lost some diamond earrings that my Gran gave me I was never able to find them. It upset me so bad!
I have lost numerous pieces of jewelry of varying value and so I rarely wear jewelry anymore because of it. Thanks for the chance to win.
Lost my son's LMAX and I'm so tempted to buy another before Santa could
I lost our pup "Rascal" at our family cottage on Labour Day weekend 2 years ago.
I lost my wedding ring. Right before we moved out of our apartment I saw the cat playing with it in the track of the closet door. I cried.
I lost a diamond necklace my parents got me for graduation.:( Never found it.
I feel like I've lost my mind running around with three kids, chauffering them from activity to activity, working part time, raising a baby, cleaning house, cooking meals. Does that count? LOL
I just lost my phone over the weekend.
But then found it under the driver's seat of my husband's truck.
weird!
Today I couldn't find the cell phone. I think it's in my grandsons diaper bag...so if my daughter calls me, the bag should ring!

Are you kidding? I am always losing something! Thankfully, I usually find it again. My poor DD, who has never lost anything in her 18 years has just recently lost 2 iphones in 2 weeks, the latest being her week old iphone 4. Luckily I insisted she take out insurance!
Marina
I think I've lost my mind several times in the past and somehow always find it again only to have it happen again.
I lost a silver locket as a kid that my grandparents had given me...my mother, to this day, has still never let me forget it!
I lost my flash drive that had lots of pics on it. I never found it. :(

the stuff i lose is mostly just sentimental value and no i never find it...the avon ring all my brothers and sisters bought me for my 16th birthday...the hand knitted santa stocking with my name on it made by one of my gramas oldest friends...then of course there are the people i have lost that i value more than anything. losing things makes me cling tighter to the things and people i DO have...
I have recently lost my grandmother's watch that I inherited when she passed away. I'm still holding out hope that I will find it soon.
hmm, i lost a $100 bill before. i thought it fell out of my wallet at my lss when i pulled out my car but i found it 3wks later in my car between my seat and the console :) just like finding money during laundry :)
Anything of value I ever lost, was lost forever...
