I'm really trying to get in the holiday spirit here in Kentucky. It's cold and rainy (no snow). I'm living in an apartment without any decorations. Help me out here!!!!

My favorite is Up on the Housetop. My grandma used to sing it all the time(I think it was the only song she knew all the words to). Every time I hear it I think of her - I think you just gave me an idea for a layout!

My favorite song is Rudolph the red nose reindeer, it reminds me of my childhood and I still know all the words!!
I feel your pain about no decorations... I felt the same way in college. One year we went out and got a $15 tree from a lot, stuck it in a bucket and decorated it with what we had (candy canes, apples and a paper star). It made our apartment so much more festive.

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus! (My older son sang this with his class for their Christmas program this year & my 4 year old was flipping out. He wanted to know if it was the REAL Santa that I kissed... and told me I would probably go to jail for kissing someone else. I couldn't get him to understand that it was just a song.) ;)

Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley. As a teenager I can remember cringing and faking a gag as my Dad would play this album over & over. Now, with both my parents gone.... It's just not Christmas without it. I play my Elvis cd over and over as my husband cringes and sweet memories swim through my mind.

WOW! Hard to pick one! I love "O Holy Night" by Josh Grobin, "Do You Hear What I Hear" by Whitney Houston, "Give Love on Christmas Day by The Jackson 5, and the list goes on and on. With 2 kids in band and one in choir, all their school concerts really put me in the Christmas music mood!!!
